The Center of Science and Industry, or COSI for short, is a science museum and research center in Columbus, Ohio. COSI was established in 1964 and relocated to a 320,000-square-foot facility in the Franklinton neighborhood in 1999, built by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki along a bend in the Scioto River.

Aside from the exhibits, COSI offers the electrifying Electrostatic Generator Display, a High-Wire Unicycle, the National Geographic Giant Screen Theater, the Science 2Go! retail shop, and the Atomicafe` restaurant.

Throughout the year, COSI also hosts world-class touring exhibits from other museums.

COSI`s award-winning education services have reached over six million teachers and students. These creative outreach education projects are designed to supplement national and state science curriculum and standards. Students in Ohio and around the country profit from innovative initiatives such as Electronic Education and COSI On Wheels. Camp-In®, a 40-year-old overnight trip for Girl Scouts, is now replicated nationwide.
